A collaborative community sculpture project.

Community, Youth & Art are brought together by Artist John Rubino.

It was a very positive experience for the students and for the school and community.  John’s sculptures enhance the beauty of Vermont, and the citizens of Morrisville are fortunate to have his work displayed in the town.”

Superintendent of Schools

Design themes are carefully considered to provide compatibility with the organizations goals and community spirit.  Diversity is attained through Rubino’s eclectic personal style and his inclusion of visiting sculptors.  Guest sculptors' works can be of either individual or collaborative design.

" John Rubino 's work is a beautiful complement to the courtyard of Brasfield & Gorrie's corporate headquarters.  John was a pleasure to work with because of his attention to time, detail and budget.  I would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking to commission a skilled, professional sculptor."

Students gain many skills and lessons working in a professional apprenticeship setting: They develop inherent aesthetic talents and learn to share and moderate their opinions within a collaborative group project. They experience the practicalities of working collaboratively with peers, audiences, constituents and supervisors.  These experiences lead to well-deserved increases in self-esteem and a legitimate sense of accomplishment.

“I want to congratulate the sculptor, John Rubino , and his team of apprentices … on their outstanding work. …  What an excellent educational experience for these students.”
